Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) ground course | Navigation – Night Course

CPL Navigation looks at navigation to a new and higher standard, in preparation for your entry into the aviation industry as a professional pilot.

Making your way from A – B at a commercial level requires a lot more consideration and planning than what you will have experienced as a PPL holder. This course will introduce new concepts to you, such as working out how long it will take to get to altitude and how much fuel that will burn, when to start your descent, equi-time points and points of no return!!!

Greater theoretical knowledge will be attained through new terms, techniques and planning practices that you will use in a commercial environment. Your ability to accurately plan a multi-leg journey on the ground will improve significantly as will your in-flight navigation and decision-making skills.

Navigation is a highly practical subject and a major part of the commercial pilot licence syllabus. So before undertaking your CPL cross countries, get a step ahead and prepare yourself well for your CPL cross countries with this course.

The following night course will be running from 1830 to 2100 on the following days:

Wednesday 14th, Thursday 15th, Wednesday 21st, Thursday 22nd, Wednesday 28th, Wednesday 5th, and Thursday 6th.
