Don’t forget, our Wings Dinner will be held on Friday 13 November at FISH restaurant at the Hilton on Princes Wharf. You’ll be treated to spectacular views over the Waitemata Harbour, a sumptuous 3 course meal and entertainment.
This annual event is a highlight of the Aero Club’s social calendar and is a chance to celebrate our members who have achieved aviation milestones over the past year.

𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴: Evening parking at the Downtown Carpark, which is a few minutes walk from the Hilton, is $2 per hour from 6pm, capped at $10. There’s also plenty of public transport options, with the Auckland City Ferry Terminal and Britomart a short distance away.

Due to tomorrow’s wind forecast, the decision has been made to postpone the Waiheke fly-in to next weekend (Sunday 18 October).
Waiheke airport will be open tomorrow with no landing fees for those still wanting to fly in, and there’ll be a couple of food stalls and classic cars on display, but they do ask pilots are cautious of their wind limitations.

This year’s regionals are being hosted by our neighbours at the Whenuapai Aviation Sports Club on Saturday 24 October, so why not come along and support our team as they compete for spots at the National Championships.
As this year's event is being held on the active Whenuapai Airforce Base, guests are required to register by 8pm tomorrow (Sunday 11 October), to enable security passes to be issued.
