Other Ratings
There are a range of ratings that can be added onto both private and commercial licences. The two most popular additional ratings we offer are for Night Flying and Aerobatics. The club tries to tailor training to the individual, as such ratings beyond these two are possible.
Night Rating
Flying at night is vasly different to flight during the day. There are illusions to wary of and the complexities of landing in a low light environment. For a PPL 5 hours of night time are required plus a checkflight with 10 hours needed for a CPL. If you’re interested in a night rating contact us.
Aerobatics Rating
Aerobatics is the most freedom you can have in the air- if your stomach can handle it. One of the requirements of this rating is attending a ground course, we run these three times a year. For more information contact the office.
