Private Pilot Licence (PPL) ground course | Navigation – AIPA (May)
‘Navigation’, includes the process of planning, recording, and controlling the movement of a craft from one place to another.
As pilots, we want to successfully fly the aircraft from place to place without getting lost, or breaking any rules whilst maintaining the safety of the aircraft and its occupants.
During this course, we will learn to do this by covering a number of topics, including basic navigation fundamentals, navigation computations, procedures, flight planning and much more. We aim to do this in a logical sequence whilst providing you with the required information in order for you to become a successful private pilot.
This is an extended version of the full-time ground course designed specifically for the Auckland International Pilot Academy (AIPA). This version of this ground course has more learning time spent on each subject in the classroom and also allows students to have an extra Study Day at the Club together with an Instructor to prepare for the exam.
PRICE – $349
This course will be running from 0830 to 1630 for 4Â days on the 2, 3, 6 and 7th of May with an extra Study Day on the 8th of May.
NOTE:Â Seats on this course are limited and subject to the number of students enrolled for the full-time Diploma course.Â
