Becoming a member of North Shore Aero Club is easy. It requires only the completion of an application form and the payment of membership fees. An application form can be sent to you.

There are different membership categories because we recognize that not everybody will want to be an active flyer. Please contact the flight desk for details. There are many membership benefits. In addition to the facilities already described, North Shore Aero Club members are entitled to:

	Competitive aircraft hire rates and;
	No Landing fees at the North Shore Airfield

The highly acclaimed in house magazine "PropTalk" is sent to every member each month keeping them in touch with past and coming events and functions in the club's calendar. Members also have the option of subscribing (free of charge) to an email update service which is sent out on a fortnightly basis. The North Shore Aero Club is affiliated to the Royal New Zealand Aero Club Incorporated (RNZAC) which entitles its members to use facilities of the vast majority of other aero clubs throughout the country. It also means that as a member, you can participate in the wide range of competitions which the RNZAC run at a Regional, National and International level.

Competition flying is not only great fun but it also focuses the pilots attention and skills on improvement. We believe that this can only aid in the development of a better pilot and encourage all our members to participate. It is also a great way to meet new people and see new faces within the club which helps keep the learning fun!
