Internet Flight Information Service - Weather and NOTAMS
Metflight Login - Weather Information for GA Pilots
Landcare Research - NZ Satellite Imagery (Colour). Based on imagery from the NOAA-15 satellite, this can provide excellent "big picture" information to aid the interpretation of the current weather situation.

New Zealand Weather Information - Forecasts, Rain Radar, Imagery and much more. Prepared by James McGregor from Victoria University (in Wellington)
From the Windsurf.co.nz website, here is information from one of their webcams showing live weather at Orewa Beach (our local beach just down the road). Trend information regarding the wind is also presented at this location. This site is also useful as it also has Webcams situated elsewhere in the Auckland Region.
This is an Australian weather website which provides a similar weather information as our Metservice website. One useful feature of this site is synoptic information further to the west of New Zealand (including all of Australia and the Indian Ocean) which can help when assessing potential weather more than a few days in advance.
If you click on the "Alternative Weather Stations" tab via this site it will take you to a page where you can access information dowloaded from private weather stations throughout New Zealand. These are intended to be an aid to help decision making with respect to cross country navigation.
North Shore Aero Club -- Live Weather A new "La Crosse" weather station has been installed at the club so you can now have a look at the "current" weather at the club from the luxury of your home!
