This is an Australian weather website which provides a similar weather information as our Metservice website.
One useful feature of this site is synoptic information further to the west of New Zealand (including all of Australia and the Indian Ocean) which can help when assessing potential weather more than a few days in advance. |

If you click on the "Alternative Weather Stations" tab via this site it will take you to a page where you can access information dowloaded from private weather stations throughout New Zealand.
These are intended to be an aid to help decision making with respect to cross country navigation. |
