| History | |
| This competition is run to commemorate New Zealand's most famous female aviator, Jean Batten. This competition is only open to female pilots who have not obtained their PPL at the time the RNZAC Regional competitions have been run. The competition involves a pre flight inspection and a precision circuit. The winner of this competition (at National level) also receives a monetary award from the scholarship set up from the estate of the late Jean Batten. |
